Soyou unveils chic “Girl” MV alongside release of EP ‘Off Hours’

On April 29, Soyou released the music video for her new title track “Girl,” showcasing a strikingly chic and confident visual concept. 

In the MV, she completes a sleek and sophisticated atmosphere through bold styling and refined direction, with a jacket-and-sunglasses look alone delivering a powerful screen presence.

“Girl” is an indie pop track that blends dry drum patterns, synth textures, and rhythmic guitar sounds, creating a minimalist yet emotionally driven sonic landscape. Soyou also participated in writing the lyrics, expressing honest inner emotions through the line, “I am not a cool girl,” which reveals vulnerability beneath a composed exterior.

At the same time, her third EP, 'Off Hours,' has also been officially released via major online music platforms. The album reflects the meaning of taking time for oneself amid a busy lifestyle, capturing personal emotions and introspective stories from the perspective of an individual rather than just a musician.
