On May 19, BIG OCEAN officially released the music video for their latest track, “Make It Up To You.”
“Make It Up To You” is a pop-funk track inspired by the sounds of 1970s disco funk and city pop, delivering a nostalgic yet refreshing atmosphere. The song combines groovy rhythms with emotional melodies, creating a vibrant retro-style sound.
The lyrics notably mention several European cities from the group’s previously canceled European tour, adding a heartfelt message to fans. In the music video, the members are seen running to catch a subway train while scenes of various European locations unfold throughout the video, symbolizing their longing to reconnect with international fans.
BIG OCEAN consists of members Kim Jiseok, PJ, and Lee Chanyeon. The group gained significant attention as K-pop’s first hearing-impaired idol group after making their debut on April 20, 2024, which also marks Korea’s Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Since their debut, BIG OCEAN has continued to inspire global audiences with their music, performances, and message of inclusion and perseverance.
