EPEX releases “ECHO” MV, concluding youth era story

On June 9, the music video for EPEX title track “ECHO” was officially released, marking the group’s return with their seventh mini album 'Youth (韶華) : Epilogue.' The full album and music video became available at 6 PM KST across major online music platforms.

The title track “ECHO” features a minimalist sound influenced by 2000s musical aesthetics and a strong hip-hop bass line. The track delivers a distinctive blend of nostalgic emotion and contemporary energy, reflecting the group’s continued exploration of youth-themed storytelling.

Member MU stated that the album represents “the resonance of youth’s conviction,” emphasizing the emotional message behind the project. YEWANG revealed that he first heard “ECHO” two years ago, adding that during the production process, the members were presented with two tracks, “ECHO” and “Everyday Tomorrow.” He explained that all members were strongly drawn to “ECHO,” which ultimately led to its selection as the title track.

Regarding the choreography, WISH highlighted that the key point of the performance is the hand movement, describing it as a push and pull motion that defines the routine. A-Min added that the chorus choreography is designed to be highly addictive and easy to follow, especially when paired with the repetitive “echo” lyric.

With the release of 'Youth (韶華) : Epilogue, EPEX' continues to expand its youth narrative series, delivering a performance-focused title track that combines emotional depth with strong stage presence.
