GFRIEND’s Yerin unveils refreshing “Shooting Star (Prod. PATEKO)” MV

GFriend (Girlfriend)’s Yerin released the music video for her new track “Shooting Star (Prod. PATEKO)” on June 9, showcasing a refreshing and youthful summer atmosphere.

In the newly released MV, Yerin appears in a pure white dress against the backdrop of a summer-night beach, highlighting a soft, innocent mood. The video also features scenes of her in a flower-filled park, radiating a bright and fresh charm. Toward the end, she returns to the night sea setting, where fireworks light up the sky, beautifully matching the lyrical theme of a fleeting night that will never return.

Regarding the title track “Shooting Star (Prod. PATEKO),” Yerin described it as “a song that captures the moment of rediscovering forgotten dreams and hope under the night sky.” She added, “It is a hopeful song that also provides comfort to myself, and I hope listeners can find even a little consolation through my music.”

Meanwhile, Yerin officially made her comeback on June 9 by holding a showcase for her fourth mini album 'REACH YOU' at Rolling Hall in Hongdae, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
