NCT WISH has released the full MV for "BOY MEETS GIRL."
As reported previously, NCT WISH has a Japanese comeback in store for fans with the double single, 'YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL.' The latter track is a retro pop-rock number and a remake of the 1994 hit by the Japanese band TRF.
As a pre-release single, this song will be followed by "YO-I-DON!," which is slated for release on July 13, while the physical album will arrive on July 15.
In this MV, the members embrace an incredibly retro, simple yet intentionally blurry concept, perfectly capturing the essence of youth. Through nostalgic visuals and carefree moments, they showcase their signature youthful charm. In the comments section, fans have been sharing reactions such as:
"Why do I feel like I'm about to cry... I'm so happy, but it also feels like it could disappear in an instant, like a mirage. I don't want to miss this chapter of youth that WISH and NCTzens are creating together. I want to remember it for a long, long time," and "WISH is really good at this kind of thing... that slightly unsettling, bittersweet youth vibe."
Their promotions are also part of the larger yearlong celebration that NCT has prepared this year, marking the mega-group's 10th debut anniversary. Check out the ongoing official website here.
