RSS Terms of Service

Last updated: June 24, 2026

allkpop Lab (“Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) makes certain headlines, summaries, and links available through RSS feeds (the “Feeds”) as a convenience to readers. These RSS Terms of Service (“RSS Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Feeds. By accessing, subscribing to, or otherwise using any Feed, you agree to these RSS Terms and to the allkpop Lab Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Feeds.

1. Permitted Use

The Feeds are offered for your personal, non-commercial use only (except as permitted in Section 2) — for example, reading headlines and summaries in a personal RSS reader. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to display the headlines, summaries, and links contained in the Feeds on a personal, non-commercial website or application, provided that you at all times:

  • do not edit, modify, truncate (beyond the summary we provide), translate, or create derivative works from the content;
  • link each item back to the original article on lab.allkpop.com;
  • clearly attribute the content to allkpop Lab; and
  • do not suggest or imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement by allkpop Lab.

On-the-fly translation performed by your personal RSS reader for your own reading is permitted; the restriction on translation above applies to translated copies that you publish or otherwise make available to others.

2. Prohibited Use

Except as expressly permitted above, you may not, without our prior written permission:

  • use the Feeds or their content for any commercial purpose, including selling, licensing, sublicensing, or redistributing them to any third party;
  • edit, modify, alter, or remove any headline, summary, link, attribution, trademark, or copyright notice contained in the Feeds;
  • use the Feeds or their content, in whole or in part, to train, develop, fine-tune, or operate any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model or tool, or to generate output derived from the Feeds’ content using such a model or tool, whether for commercial or personal purposes;
  • use any automated means — including crawlers, robots, scripts, spiders, or scrapers — to harvest, mine, or collect content from the Feeds beyond ordinary feed polling, except for indexing for inclusion in a public search engine (an express exception to the non-commercial limit in Section 1);
  • frame, mirror, or present the content in a manner that misrepresents its source or implies that it is your own;
  • insert advertising into or alongside individual Feed items in a manner that suggests allkpop Lab’s endorsement; or
  • use the Feeds in any manner that violates these RSS Terms, the allkpop Lab Terms of Service, or any applicable law or regulation.

3. Technical Access

When you access the Feeds programmatically, you must:

  • poll no more frequently than reasonably necessary — we recommend no more than once per hour per Feed;
  • honor conditional-request headers (If-Modified-Since and ETag) and standard caching directives so you do not re-fetch unchanged content;
  • send a clear, identifiable User-Agent that lets us contact you if necessary; and
  • not place an unreasonable load on allkpop’s or Lab’s servers.

We may rate-limit, throttle, or block any access that is excessive or abusive, or that ignores these conditions.

4. Attribution and Linking

Wherever you display content from the Feeds, you must retain the original title, attribute the content to “allkpop Lab,” and link to the original article URL (https://lab.allkpop.com/read/…). You may not remove, obscure, or alter any such attribution or link.

5. Intellectual Property

All content delivered through the Feeds — including text, headlines, images, and other materials — is owned by allkpop, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These RSS Terms do not transfer to you any allkpop or third-party intellectual property, and no rights are granted to you other than the limited license expressly set out above. allkpop® is a registered trademark of allkpop, LLC.

6. Disclaimers

The Feeds are provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Feeds will be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, accurate, or error-free, and we are not responsible for the content of any third-party reader or service through which the Feeds are accessed.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, allkpop, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Feeds.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless allkpop, LLC and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your use or misuse of the Feeds or your breach of these RSS Terms. This obligation supplements any indemnification provided under the allkpop Lab Terms of Service.

9. Changes, Discontinuation, and Revocation

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any Feed, and may modify these RSS Terms, at any time and without notice. We may also revoke the license granted above at any time and for any reason. Upon any revocation or discontinuation, you must promptly stop displaying content from the affected Feed and delete any cached copies in your possession or control. Your continued use of the Feeds after any change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised RSS Terms.

10. Governing Law

These RSS Terms, and the relationship between you and allkpop, LLC, are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, consistent with the allkpop Lab Terms of Service. These RSS Terms supplement, and do not replace, that agreement; in the event of a conflict regarding the Feeds, these RSS Terms control.

11. Contact

For licensing, commercial use, or any other permission required under these RSS Terms, contact us at wdki@allkpop.com. We will consider reasonable requests but are under no obligation to grant any license.
