
The fans of BTS made a donation to atomic bomb victims.
On December 6, Hapcheon Welfare Center for Atomic Bomb Victims announced that BTS' fan club, Run ARMY, gathered donation funds from November 9 to November 18 and donated 5,442,277 KRW (4,852 USD) to the organization.
Run ARMY explained they became interested in the issues involving atomic bomb victims after the recent controversy and realized that many of the victims still live in dire conditions. The fans decided to come together to help the ones who went through the difficult times and stated, "We hope this small offering can be used to heal the pain of the victims."
Hapcheon Welfare Center for Atomic Bomb Victims also stated, "The meaningful donation carefully gathered by the fans will become a great help to the elderly victims of the atomic bomb."
