South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) officially announced Shaun and Nilo are innocent of the sajaegi (chart manipulation) accusations.
On January 31, the MCST confirmed to YTN Star that based on their investigation it's difficult to consider the two singers' music chart activities as sajaegi.
The MCST stated they did not notice any unusualness but rather saw similar patterns when they analyzed and compared the controversial songs to three other tracks. A rep stated, "The main focus of the investigation was to see if it were different from the way of normal music streaming. There were no major differences between the controversial songs and the three other tracks."
Following the confirmation from MCST, Shaun's agency DCTOM Entertainment announced they will continue to take strong action against acts defaming the artist and the company.
