What is allkpop Lab?
allkpop Lab is where we're building the new allkpop, and we're doing it in the open.
Instead of going quiet and coming back with a finished product one day, we're putting things up as we build them. That's why we called it a Lab. It's not done yet, and honestly, that's the point: we want to build this with you. What you tell us will shape what it becomes.
Here's what's live right now.

The main screen looks very different. That was intentional.
News still comes first, and that's not going anywhere. But below it, we've brought all of allkpop's content together into one place, so less time hunting, more time reading. If you'd rather stick to the classic news-only view, hit News in the menu and it's right there, same as always. Nothing was taken away.

Explore is new, and we're genuinely excited about it.
allkpop has been around a long time, and we've collected more artist data than we ever had a good home for. Explore is that home.
Every artist gets a Hub: one page with their profile, anniversaries, recent activity, news, and video, with their whole story in one place. Inside each Hub is a Timeline that runs from their debut all the way to now, event by event. Tap any event for the full details, and there's a chat room attached to it, so you can talk about that specific album release, that debut stage, that moment, with the fans who care about it just as much as you do.
Every Hub also has its own fan chat, and conversations can break off event by event too. Got a bias? Go find their Hub right now.

Events has been a long time coming.
We've been running fan events with artists lately, and so many of you showed up for them. It meant a lot. Going forward, Events is where we'll host even more of those, plus events allkpop runs on its own.
There's actually a vote happening right now. Go take a look!

Clips is the short-form space you saw on the main screen.
Share short videos with the K-pop community here. Spotted something on TikTok or YouTube that allkpop fans would love? Share it. A challenge, your own attempt at one, a clip of your bias, or just something you want to show off. All of it is welcome.
Lab Notes is where you'll find our updates.
Anything we change based on your feedback, any new features we add, Lab Notes is where you'll hear about it first.

And the part that matters most to us: the feedback button, top right, right next to your profile.
Want an artist's info added in Explore? Want us to line up someone for an Event? Whatever you'd like to see from allkpop Lab or the new allkpop, tell us. We read everything that comes in.
This is yours as much as it's ours. Let's build it together!
