On January 15, the '28th Seoul Music Awards' took place at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
The 'Seoul Music Awards' show first began in 1990 and is held annually to recognize outstanding achievements in the Korean music industry. The winners are determined by the calculations of digital download/album sales (40%), mobile vote (30%), and judges vote (30%). (Popularity awards are decided 100% by a popularity poll.)
This year, Shin Dong Yup, Super Junior's Heechul, and actress Kim So Hyun hosted the event.
