#RespectBtsJin trends worldwide as BTS ARMY continue to ask feedback from BigHit

BY philosykos · April 30, 2020

#RespectBtsJin, #UpdateONDanceBreak hashtags have been trending by BTS ARMY to raise a voice against BigHit, the Choreographers and others that clearly excluded Jin from dance break part of ON music video. ARMY say this hashtag is not for the music video per se, but it is for future dance performances at concerts, where Jin will not be a part of the song which has been used by BigHit for advertising purposes as well.

This isn't the first time BigHit has excluded Jin.

The song Not Today, released in 2016, merely gave Jin a 0.4 seconds screen time in the 4 odd minutes music video. He was also given just 1 line to sing. At that time hashtags were raised asking for a proper feedback on this fiasco which resulted in an overwhelming release of Jin content like bangtan bombs and tweets, while sidelining the main issue.

Merchandise such as posters, concert photos, concept books, etc have many a times cropped Jin, supposedly the Visual of BTS.

Let me remind you that 'maybe he's the one who decided not to do' argument is not valid. Once he wants to dye his hair black the company held a meeting for an hour. So what makes you think he can decide to do or not to do? #UpdateONDanceBreak #RespectBTSJin pic.twitter.com/uzuXB23ewo

Jin, who was originally streetcasted by BigHit with the hopes of becoming an actor has yet to achieve his goal.
