King of the Cyber World BTS’ V’s combined hashtags reigns over popular western artists proving his global popularity on Facebook.

BTS member V is undoubtedly one of the most adored celebrities in the world today. His overwhelming popularity is reflected in every corner of the world. Most notably, his reign over cyberspace is often the talk-of-the-town.

As the all-rounder star of BTS, V has become one of the most recurrent trending topics of the 21st Century. Whether it is through his jaw-dropping performances, heartwarming interactions with the fans, or simply with a picture of his gorgeous existence, V creates quite a storm on the Internet with every appearance. As a result, V has surpassed several top-class celebrities to become one of the most-talked-about artists on Facebook.

It has been reported that the combined hashtags of V have reached over 14.2 million on Facebook. As an idol who has several names, V is often at a disadvantage as his official stage name, his real name and the name fans address him as divides his total into many halves. For example, #Taehyung amounts 2.6M hits on Facebook while #JustinBieber has 1.3M, #ArianaGrande has 674K and #LadyGaga has 960K posts to their names.

Aside from Facebook, V has also ticked off the most-widely used Social Networking Sites in the world such as Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok as a part of his reign. On Twitterverse, V’s iconic “Hi ARMY” tweet is listed at #8 on the most-liked tweets of all-time. This is the highest rank for a Korean artist on the list. Despite once again being at a disadvantage of not being able to trend easily as his one-letter stage name is not considered a trend and Twitter blocking “Taehyung” as a mean to keep the BTS members from trending 24/7, V still manages to trend with keywords such as “Taes” and “Taes + (keyword)” proving the strong impact he has on the platform.

Switching on to the next in line, V recently set a remarkable first-ever record on Instagram by garnering over five million likes on three of his teaser photos. The record is highly noteworthy  as V does not have a personal account nor is active on the platform.

Meanwhile, on TikTok, three of his most-used hashtags racked up a total of 36 billion combined views. Two of them have surpassed over 14 billion, marking V as the only artist to do so. 

Additionally, V also frequently ranks the highest among foreign celebrities on Twipple, the Japanese Twitter while his unwavering foothold on Weibo, China has bestowed V the nickname of “Prince of the Continent.” It seems like India, Philippines, as well as Saudi Arabia, is also on its way to join the “Tae Tae Land” club as V continuously boasts unfaltering popularity in these nations.
