'Korea's Sweetheart' BTS V trends on Naver and Daum after performance on the ‘35th Golden Disc Awards’ and sets Twitter on fire after his vibrant weverse update

BTS attended the Day 2 of ‘Golden Disc Awards’ where they performed and took home multiple awards. BTS member V, however, was someone who captured the hearts of millions around the world from the moment he stepped foot on the red carpet, to the end of the award ceremony. 

The enrapture of the public and fans over V’s godly visuals, perfect vocals and mesmerizing expressions translated in the form of his name trending on multiple platforms.

V’s picture article trended on Naver’s main page for several hours. ’방탄소년단 뷔’ (BTS V) even trended at #6 spot on Naver’s News Topic under entertainment and sports section. He was the only BTS related topic trending on Naver’s News section. A picture article of V also trended on Daum’s main page.

After BTS performed on GDA, V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, became the top trending topic worldwide on Google associated with the search term ‘Golden Disk Awards’. Even though the award ceremony was only broadcasted with no audience present physically, V was able to connect to fans and non-fans alike just through mobile or television screens, which speaks volumes about his class and status as a performer. The trends are only a reflection of his explosive popularity.

Kim Taehyung later posted a mirror selca in his bold yellow outfit from ‘Dynamite’ performance on weverse. Fans were amazed looking at V’s visuals and his ability to turn everything ‘In vogue’. 

Soon after his update, his name, Kim Taehyung, trended in multiple countries in all caps and the phrase ‘Kim Taehyung we love you’ sneaked it’s way into the trends soon after. 

Fans had a blast changing shades of V’s outfits as he looks good in any color. Twitter came alive as ARMYs flooded the app with funny edits of V's outfit. 

It has been proven multiple times that V’s existence alone is a reason for the fans to feel elated to the point of ‘unconsciously’ trending his name. He always ends up being the centre of attention no matter what the occasion is and award ceremonies are when his contagious charms wind up making everyone into his fans.
