ELLE, headquartered in Paris, is considered to be the World's most prominent fashion magazine, with 46 international editions in over 60 countries. ELLE Japan is one of these international editions, defined as the first of the many international ELLE publications. In an article released on September 28, 2021, for the 2021 Fall/Winter edition, ELLE Japan investigated the bags that fashionable Korean celebrities all love. The magazine highlighted the 'star bag' especially worn by Korean celebrities who own many bags, adding that this particular bag would be aesthetically eye-catching and fits with other accessories, thus considered an 'it' bag.
Jimin's 'Louis VuittonPetit Malle' bag that he had as he was leaving for the UN General Assembly made it to this list. With its gold metal fittings, the bag perfectly completed his all-black Louis Vuitton outfit and cap. Not only did the bag make the entire look more classy, but it also absolutely transformed the simple all-black look into a chic look with a star aura, the magazine states.

Jimin has been known to make fashion headlines with his airport looks and on various other occasions. He is particularly known to be able to put together different pieces to create an eye-catching look, despite most people not being able to pull off similar looks. He has become a household name in matters of fashion and an influencer as well. Other than ELLE Japan, several reputable fashion magazines and fashion institutions have recognized him and his impact on fashion for years now.
GQ magazine, a US men's fashion magazine, previously selected Jimin as one of the 'Best Dressed Men of the Week' for one of his airport looks. He was the only Asian male to make it on this list, which is indicative of his power and impact.

Jimin has caught the eye of big luxury fashion brands from way back, as seen in the case of Yves Saint Laurent in 2019 when the brand contacted one of his fansites and requested to use one of their images of Jimin in the brand's Paris and Asian headquarters. Jimin is not an ambassador for the brand, neither is he a professional model. Therefore the brand's interest to have him represent them spoke volumes to his fashion sense, how he carried the brand, and how he looked or how the brand looked on him.

Her World, a leading fashion magazine in Singapore, also named Jimin as 'the most Saint Laurent-looking guy' in BTS in an article about the 'Best Dressed Korean Celebs of the Week.'

Jimin was also included in the Business of Fashion 500 Class of 2019 as the only third-generation male idol to make it to this list of highly influential fashion icons in the World. The BoF 500 is the definitive professional index of the people shaping the $2.4 trillion fashion industry, hand-selected by the editors of The Business of Fashion. In this edition, Jimin was listed as both a 'model and muse,' which demonstrates his explosive impact in the fashion world.

VOGUE KOREA also previously published a feature where Hyeyeon Han, a famous stylist who has worked with numerous superstars, picked five of the most fashionable idols, and Jimin made it to her list. With the number of superstars she comes across on a daily basis on her job, it is impressive that Jimin caught her eye with his fashion. Jimin is a true fashionista.

Likewise, Jimin was listed as a "model & muse" in the Business of Fashion (BoF) Class of 2019 as an official recognition of the global fashion industry & was the only Asian to be selected as the "Best Dressed of the Week" in the US GQ magazine pic.twitter.com/TM7grJVCgh
Not only is Jimin making strong waves as a singer and a dancer, but he has also set a firm imprint in the fashion world, considering all the recognition he has received for his looks and his impact. BTS is currently the global ambassador for Louis Vuitton, the biggest luxury fashion brand globally, and Fashionbiz, a leading Korean fashion magazine, specifically attributed the fruition of this deal to Jimin's impact in fashion and in sales.
