Information on Jimin's school years shows that he was a top-performing and all-rounded student. Not only did he score straight As in academics, but he also engaged in all kinds of extra-curricular activities and excelled in them too, which is why we have the multi-skilled and talented Jimin that we see today.
For example, he was termed as 'god of math' aside from being a genius in chemistry, so much so that he even makes puns with the subject. He can easily explain science events and solve complex puzzles and mathematical problems in record time. Such skills require very fast-functioning brainpower, to be able to decode information and interpret it within short periods, and very few people have such capacity. He also engaged in various activities like training in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese martial arts and studying dance, and was a member of several school clubs, including soccer, billiards, tennis, robotics, and book clubs, all of which are activities that are demanding both physically and in terms of time. Jimin managed his time in school very efficiently and managed to maintain his position at the top of his classes while also acquiring and developing skills of wide scope. He was the perfect student.
For this reason, any advice he has for students is something that many take a keen interest in. As a star student with such a sparkling all-rounded record, there is no one better to take advice from regarding school matters.
On November 18, BTS posted a video sending a shout-out to students who were about to take their college entrance exam, the Seneung test, or the College Scholastic Ability Test. This test is considered to be one of the most important exams for any student in South Korea. News NCR terms this 9-hour exam as one of the world's toughest exams, and passing the exam is deemed a guarantee for a better or successful future.
Two of South Korea's largest and most influential news channels SBS News and Yonhap News, reported on BTS' well wishes and advice for this year's examinees, and both channels specifically singled out Jimin's message, proving his role model status for any student.

Wise words from Korea's IT Boy Jimin👏pic.twitter.com/o68xWQxh1d
Jimin has always been offering support to students as they prepare to enter the exam, and with his words, he always tries to help calm any nerves or anxiety, as seen from this year's and last year's messages. With his experience and wisdom, he understands that nerves and anxiety can stand in the way of a good performance despite having prepared well.
Jimin also encouraged students in a post made on Weibo when they took the college entrance exam in China that same year

This is not the first time that his wise words have resonated with many and gotten featured by the media. When BTS members gave speeches during the Class of 2020 online graduation, Jimin's message was once again highlighted by major media outlets like VOGUE JAPAN and LIVE NATION SINGAPORE. Live Nation Singapore posted a clip of Jimin's speech during the event on the official Twitter handle, saying, " We needed to hear this.....and we urge everyone to watch it." Live Nation is the world's No. 1 company in the field of live entertainment. Vogue Japan exclusively quoted a section of Jimin's speech on the official Twitter handle as well.
Once again, Jimin spoke from the position of a student as he was also graduating in that same year that had been marred with all kinds of challenges following the COVID-19 pandemic. Students felt that he really did understand the types of emotions that students across the world may have been feeling at that time because he was one of them. The sincerity of his words is why various media entities picked on his message and highlighted it.
Of note is that as he graduated, Jimin also received the President's Awards from Global Cyber University for being an influential global role model.
wait a minute.....so when jimin in his class of 2020 speech said that "there's a person in Seoul, South Korea who understands you".....he also meant the struggles of quarantine student life because he was going thru the same thing 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/uFAt9q6jHC
