Baby Shark, Goofy, Super Mario, Pororo along with popular figures in South Korea join the #SuperTuna challenge

It has been a month after the release of Jin's self-produced viral hit "Super Tuna." However, the hype around it still hasn't died down. Recently, the official hashtag has reached 250 million views on TikTok and is still charting on Youtube Worldwide Music Category after breaking the record of PSY.

Many Korean and Japanese mascots have joined the challenge. And just recently, even the popular cartoon characters became a part of the "Super Tuna" wave. For example, the iconic Pororo, the Little Penguin, Goofy, and Pluto from Disney, Super Mario!


Other popular mascots have also joined the challenge due to its immense popularity and the song being super fun and catchy.

Baby Shark, The Mascot of Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, The Mascot of S-Oil, "Haechi" the mascot of Seoul City, Mr. Chungju, the mascot of Chungju City, The Mascot of National Credit Union Federation, "Munhwa" the mascot of Daegu Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, "Hi-hou" the mascot of High1 Ski Resort, Dotty channel by the Sandbox Network, The Mascot of the channel that produced "Baby Shark" etc.

More than that, the "Super Tuna" dance challenge was done by many dance cover groups. And even real fishermen or tuna factory workers!

"Super Tuna" was named one of the four most popular viral sensations of South Korea in 2021.
