To celebrate South Korea's National Children's Day on May 5, Kim Jong Kook decided to treat his niece to a very special present!
First, Kim Jong Kook introduced his viewers to his niece Ri Won, who revealed that she was a big fan of TOMORROW x TOGETHER. Ri Won then introduced Kim Jong Kook to TOMORROW x TOGETHER by showing him the group's MV for "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)", and Kim Jong Kook pointed out that members Yeonjun and Hueningkai had appeared on 'Running Man' as guests. While watching the MV, Kim Jong Kook kept trying to learn the members' names, but confused Taehyun for Beomgyu, then Yeonjun for Soobin, etc!
Eventually, Kim Jong Kook told Ri Won that another cameraman would film her specifically, and invited the cameraman in. He then asked Ri Won to send out a message to her favorite TOMORROW x TOGETHER member, Soobin, while looking at her individual camera.
Although Kim Jong Kook wanted the cameraman's identity reveal to be a surprise, Ri Won already knew that the cameraman was actually Soobin! The young MOA went red as her favorite idol joined her on the sofa. When Soobin asked Ri Won specifically why he was her favorite member, Ri Won said, "Your face is small, your eyes are big, you're handsome, you're tall, and you're generous." Happy to hear Ri Won's praise, Soobin offered the young fan a hug!
Later on, Kim Jong Kook apologized to viewers, especially to MOAs, for using his "celebrity status" to invite Soobin over for a one-on-one fan meeting with his niece. However, to make up for it Kim Jong Kook assured that he would do his best to promote TOMORROW x TOGETHER to the best of his ability, and would also try to have Soobin guest on 'Running Man' in the future.
