On January 16th, Jimin was unveiled as the newest addition to Dior's global ambassadors list, joining big names on the global entertainment scene like Sharon Stone, Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Johnny Depp and others. He thus became the first BTS member to seal an individual global brand ambassadorship deal with a big luxury fashion brand, and is also the first Asian male to be Dior's global brand ambassador.

Fans had been quick to point out a possibility for a collaboration between Jimin and Dior since a few days ago when they noticed that Jimin was wearing outfits from Dior's Spring 2023 men's collection for his W KOREA cover issue.
