BTS' 'Boy With Luv' (feat. Halsey) becomes 1st Korean song in history to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify

On February 9 KST, BTS' 2019 hit single "Boy With Luv" featuring Halsey officially exceeded a whopping 1 billion streams on Spotify, setting a new record among K-Pop artists.

Released on April 12, 2019, as the title track from the group's 6th mini-album 'Map of the Soul: Persona', "Boy With Luv" reached the 1 billion stream count on the platform 3 years and 9 months after its release.

With this, BTS once again made a historical feat as "Boy With Luv" has become the 1st-ever Korean song to hit the milestone and the group's 3rd song to do so, after their English-language singles "Butter" and "Dynamite".
