#Jin has become the second-longest charting Asian artist to reach #1 on Hungary's Singles Chart

"The Astronaut" by Jin is his debut solo single that became a major success, setting and breaking many records around the world. In Korea, Jin was named the only "complete male soloist" among the releases in 2022 (by the Secretary General of KMCA) due to demonstrating equally great physical sales and general public interest on digital platforms.

The most important chart for any artist is the Billboard Hot 100, and Jin holds the record for the highest solo debut there, as well as the highest first appearance in K-pop history.

Jin is also the highest-peaking K-pop soloist on the Billboard Hot 100 in Japan this decade (#4) and the first foreign artist to top the Oricon Sales chart in the past 11 years (and received the RIA certificate). He became the first soloist to get a gold '1,000,000 copies sold' certificate for a single album on Circle (Gaon).

Jin keeps setting new records daily, even months after the release of his single. "The Astronaut" has been charting on Hungary's Singles Chart for 10 weeks (and still counting)! After BTS' "Butter," Jin is the second longest-charting Asian artist at the No. 1 spot. Jin was #1 for 7 weeks straight! The chart is respected for its authority in the whole world and demonstrates Jin's popularity around the globe.

All of Jin's solo songs have entered Hungary's Singles Chart as well. Moreover, back in 2020, Jin's song "Moon" became the only solo song from the album to chart there. "Moon" even ranked 71st in Hungary's 2020 Single Top 100 year-end sales chart
