BLACKPINK's Jisoo Rates Newspaper as the "Best Tasting Paper" on Lee Young Ji's 'No Prepare'

BLACKPINK's Jisoo appeared on Lee Young Ji's YouTube talk show 'No Prepare' as a special guest on April 7.

On this day, Jisoo displayed her charming and unique personality while discussing various topics, including rumors about BLACKPINK's relationship and reminiscing about her childhood.

During the show, Lee Young Ji introduced a gin that had a peculiar taste, describing it as similar to the taste of the back of a sticker. Jisoo could relate to the description and admitted to having tasted sticker photos in the past. 

Lee Young Ji became ecstatic that Jisoo was able to empathize and asked, "Have you ever licked the sticker photo too?" Jisoo replied, "Yes, I did a lot of strange things like that."

Jisoo continued to share a little about how she was when she was a young child and revealed that she used to eat paper, and newspaper is the best-tasting paper out of all the papers.

She shared, "I liked to lick the newspaper," and elaborated, "When I was in preschool, I used to do origami, and I tasted the paper while I did it but it tasted bad. So I went to my house and tasted a newspaper and it tasted a little bit salty and delicious." 

Lee Young Ji became baffled and asked, "Did you taste it by sucking it or chewing it?"  and Jisoo shared, "I really used to eat it." She continued, "I was able to quit eating it because there was tissue and I wanted to taste it too. When I was little. I ate tissue but I quit eating tissue because it tasted so terrible."

Young Ji went on to ask, "So, do newspaper, colored paper, and tissue taste different?" And Jisoo shared that they all taste different and have different textures. She shared, "In the case of tissue, it melts in the mouth right away, its texture is not good, so I quit eating (paper)."

Lee Young Ji added, "Doesn't newspaper melt right away too?" to which Jisoo explained, "It doesn't and it's salty." Young Ji made everyone laugh when she continued to ask, "Then can I ask you something? Am I going too far if I ask this? Does Dong-A Daily News taste better or..."
