Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, shared insights during his new TV appearance.
On September 6th, Taehyung made a special guest appearance on a new episode of 'You Quiz on the Block.' This marks his second appearance after BTS were guests in2021 and his first as a solo artist.

Dressed in an all-white outfit, Taehyung transformed into a blonde prince from a fairy tale, and charmed the hosts with his wit and honesty.
During the show, he discussed various topics, including his family, life as an idol, and his highly anticipated solo album 'Layover,' set to be released on September 8.
When asked about his album's title track "Slow Dancing," Taehyung shocked the hosts by revealing the song will have freestyle choreography with different dances for each performance.
This deviates from the traditional K-pop practice of having a fixed choreography for each song.
"Actually, this time it’ll be a freestyle. It’s different every stage performance. Even for the dancers, it’s all different."

Taehyung reflected on his life and shared the meaning behind his solo debut album "Layover."
"My album. it's layover. I think there's no straight line to my life's final destination. So the album's title implies that I, who'd been just running non-stop, look back and think about what I am good at, what I like and reach that destination at slower/steady pace."

Being in the spotlight has its challenges, and Taehyung discussed how being a member of the mega group BTS has toughened him against the negativity thrown his way.
"In the past, if someone threw a stone at me, I would say, 'It hurts, hurts,' and I struggled. But now I often tell myself, 'I should not break because of that one small stone.' I am one of seven, and as that 'one,' I cannot be weak. I have to be strong.'"

He talked about how his dad cried after BTS's 2021 guest appearance. On that day, Taehyung revealed that his dream was to become like his father, which made his dad emotional.
“My dad cried after watching that broadcast. My Dad called me, fought back tears then said, ‘Oh my! You did a good job.’“

Taehyung also discussed his relationship with his grandmother, who raised him for 15-16 years, and the influence and impact she had on him.

Meanwhile, "Layover" will be released on September 8, consists of five songs and a bonus track, including the title track "Slow Dancing." The physical albums are currently available for pre-order on stores worldwide.
