Fans are concerned about the health of K-pop idols who attended the MelOn Music Awards 2023.
As previously reported, the MelOn Music Awards were held on December 2 KST, with musical acts like NCT Dream, BOYNEXTDOOR, aespa, IVE, RIIZE, ZEROBASEONE, NewJeans, STAYC, KISS OF LIFE, SHINee, Silica Gel, imase, and Lee Young Ji in attendance.
During the event, ZEROBASEONE member Gyuvin appeared on the red carpet wearing an eye patch. While eye patches are a relatively common accessory for K-pop concepts, it is rare to see someone wearing one during an official event, and in Gyuvin's case, even his unpatched eye appeared reddened and swollen.
On November 25, Gyuvin revealed through Bubble that he thought he had conjunctivitis, and a few days later, he was spotted at the airport wearing sunglasses due to eye issues. Now a week later, both eyes became red and bloodshot, raising concerns among fans that the condition may have worsened.
However, despite this, fans noticed that he remained all smiles and had even exited the carpet a little slower than the other members to wave to the press and fans.

Meanwhile, NCT Dream's Mark, who has a torn ligament, entered the red carpet with an awkward gait, and even when leaving, his limp was noticeable. According to local media, while Mark showed professionalism, his condition worried even reporters present at the scene.

Mark has allegedly been showing signs of injury since NCT 127's 'NEO CITY: SEOUL - THE UNITY' concerts last month, and during this weekend's award show, "GET WELL SOON MARK" trended on social media, showing fans' growing concert. In response, Mark took to Bubble earlier this morning, personally revealing that he had ruptured a ligament while rehearsing and insisting that the injury was not at all severe.

Meanwhile, both ZEROBASEONE and NCT Dream were among the honored artists at the award show this weekend, with ZEROBASEONE winning 'New Artist of the Year,' while NCT Dream won 'Record of the Year,' 'Millions Top 10,' and 'Best Male Group.'
