Sky-High Popularity: Emirates reveals Jimin as a Leading Favorite in 2023 In-Flight Entertainment

Jimin's international appeal frequently becomes a topic of conversation, sparked by various global events. His music and artistry are widely recognized, and this is reflected in the success of his solo debut album. He's consistently ranked as a top artist in various global charts and has made headlines for breaking streaming and sales records across multiple platforms. 

In a recent report by Emirates, the largest airline in the Middle East and the 10th largest worldwide, Jimin was mentioned as one of the most popular artists among passengers. Emirates, which services over 150 destinations with a fleet of more than 250 aircraft, noted that Jimin's music is among the most listened to on their flights. This recognition is a testament to his widespread popularity and the global demand for his art.

On December 13, Emirates published an article revealing the 'most watched and listened to' content on Emirates flights in 2023 and Jimin was among the most listened to artists this year on all Emirates flights. 

Notably, Jimin officially made his solo debut this year, and for him to appear on this ranking further clears any doubt that many people across the globe have been highly anticipating his solo work but also that his artistry indeed captivated audiences of all demographics all around the world. Having created such shockwaves with just his first album, it is exhilarating to imagine the kind of heights he could reach as he progresses with his solo career in the coming years.

Fans could not be more proud of such achievements by their idol. 

In fact, just a few days ago, Jimin made a cameo as a clue on a BBC game show. Additionally, a popular YouTuber recently held a street interview in London where he asked people, 'what is the first thing that comes to mind when they think of South Korea', and one person answered 'Park Jimin keeps coming to my head'. 

In another instance, a South Korean travel vlogger and YouTuber had someone shouting 'Jimin' and 'BTS' when at a club in Madrid, Spain, another demonstration of Jimin being the 'face of K-pop' and of South Korea in general. His songs also keep being used as background music on different shows despite having been released almost 2 years ago, showing the popularity of his work just as he himself is extensively popular.

It has been a beautiful year for fans as they finally got his first album that they had been waiting for for years, and they witnessed how the entire world warmly received the album as well and praised Jimin tremendously, which led to him being mentioned among the top most consumed artists by different institutions and some people even showing that he was their most consumed artist of the year on their #SpotifyWrapped despite not being fans.
