Tiffany Young allegedly had to cancel a meet and greet with fans due to a stalker.
The Girls' Generation star was scheduled to attend a meet and greet and poster signing session for a 'Samsung Galaxy Space' event in New York City on February 3, and according to fans, the event was canceled because of an alleged stalker. Fans are alleging the organizer announced the meet and greet session was canceled before the event began, but Tiffany was still able to see and greet fans as she attended the event and did a short tour of the Samsung store.
However, the singer reportedly did not 'meet and greet' fans and personally sign posters as expected. Instead, Tiffany is said to have signed the posters privately, and the posters were later distributed to fans. Fans say security staff told them the event was canceled because of a stalker who made threats against Tiffany, but nothing has been confirmed.
Since then, Tiffany's label Sublime has released an official statement on artist privacy and security. The label stated, "Sublime is committed to taking continuous legal action against illegal cases involving the infringement of the rights, safety, and interests of our affiliated artists, such as malicious slander, spreading false information, and acts of defamation related to our content."
