'Dune: Part 2' stars Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya visited Korea for promotional activities, during which they shared insights into the simple, everyday lives that lie beneath the glamorous facade of Hollywood stardom.
On February 28, Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya appeared as guests on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block.'
When asked about the memorable scenes in 'Dune: Part 2,' Chalamet mentioned, "There is a great fight scene with Austin Butler, which is my favorite scene." Zendaya said, "It's hard to pick one scene. My screen time increased, and I hope people enjoyed the movie and felt the emotions we put into making it."
Chalamet expressed his appreciation for working with director Denis Villeneuve, calling it "a privilege to work with such a genius director."
Yoo Jae Suk also brought up the topic of their friendship. At first, Timothée and Zendaya joked they were not best friends but later joked that they were so close that they even coordinated their outfits. When Yoo Jae Suk asked if the outfits were a coincidence, Timothée replied, "We've planned this for years."
Regarding their usual meetings, they said, "No, we only meet when we have work." Yoo Jae Suk commented, "Then you are real friends," making them laugh.
Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya also talked about their early days. Chalamet said, "I was a fan of films. I went to the theater a lot with my mother. I failed many auditions. I also received harsh criticism." Zendaya added, "I'm thankful to be acting until now. I feel like I'm saying this like an 80-year-old grandmother, but that's because I've been acting for a long time."
When asked about Hollywood actors' lives, Chalamet and Zendaya said, "We're quite boring." Zendaya said, "I don't go out of our house. I play with my dogs, read the script, and think about what to do next."
Chalamet said, "I play video games, memorize lines, and take a shower. Sometimes, I make an omelet after working out," revealing that behind the glamorous life of a Hollywood actor, they lead a normal daily life like everyone else.
On the other hand, the movie 'Dune: Part 2,' starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, was released in Korea on February 28.
