One of the paparazzi literally said “ Now I’m going to get Covid “ 😐
Imagine being such a low life that you think Americans are the Gods #MetGala #StrayKids #kpop pic.twitter.com/HdI5lfTN3A
"tone it down girls" "getting covid, I had covid" "everyone jump" my head actually hurts. I'm so disgusted I've no words... the thought that Skz heard them loud & clear makes my heart crush https://t.co/TTYCf66C8E

Korean netizens were angered and expressed their discontent by commenting:
"This is absolutely not something to laugh about. They weren't discriminated against because they're short; it's because they're Asian guys. When they were told to jump, it wasn't because they were short and couldn't be seen; rather, it felt more like they were being told to make a spectacle. One person allegedly said 'I feel like I'm going to catch COVID,' they were laughing while saying, 'Speak Korean properly' smh."
"They're blatantly discriminating them like that...When they hear 'K-pop idols', they immediately look down on them. They don't like it when K-pop idols flood their parties."
"Those racist guys did the same to BTS before."
"When they watch the video, it's not about being short, it's more like, 'Come on, dance!' or 'Show us some performance!' And they're complaining their expressions are so robotic, and they act like they're going to catch COVID, coughing and all... They distance themselves and completely ignore them, treating them like clowns. It feels like they're saying, 'Everybody jump!' while laughing."
"I hope there aren't any people laughing while reading this. It's racial discrimination after all."
