Former Hello Venus' Yoo Ara opens up about cancer diagnosis

Former Hello Venus member Yoo Ara opened up about her cancer diagnosis.

On June 11, Ara shared the below image and message on Instagram, reassuring her fans. She expressed, "Hello, this is Yoo Ara. I hope you're all well. I'm writing this because I'm afraid some people might think I'm dead..."

She continued, "All of a sudden, I was often tired, and my condition worsened. I took a test, and I was diagnosed with cancer. I was told I needed surgery, so we had an emergency procedure. I'm not recovering and taking medicine. I've gotten a lot better. As some of you may know, it wasn't easy to get in touch with me."

Ara further shared her feelings, saying, "I felt bad because some people were disappointed. I hope those around me and those who love me will understand. I'm going to do my best not to be stressed and recuperate this year. I hope you all stay healthy and always beware of the cold. Be careful of the summer heat, and I'll do my best to update you all often."
