The most popular male celebrities chosen by gay men in South Korea in the first half of 2024

Certain male celebrities have garnered immense popularity and admiration from gay men in South Korea. 

On July 18, a survey result asking gay Korean men to vote on their favorite Korean male celebrities was announced. 374 gay men participated in the voting during June 2024 on Twitter and a Korean online gay community.

At number 1 was actor Son Suk Goo with 45 votes (3.51%), followed by actor Lee Jun Hyuk with 43 votes (3.35%), and Jung Hae In at 3rd place with 41 votes (3.20%).

In 4th place was Korean Judoka An Chang Rim with 38 votes (2.96%), followed by TXT's Soobin and actor Nam Joo Hyuk in 5th place with 37 votes (2.89%), and actor Wi Ha Joon in 6th place with 29 votes (2.26%).

In 7th place were Seventeen's Mingyu, Seo Kang Joon, and TWS's Shinyu with each 24 votes (1.87%).

TWS's Dohoon and actor Lee Jae Hoon were in 8th place with 21 votes (1.64%), followed by Ha Seok Jin in 9th place with 18 votes (1.40%), Taiwanese actor Hsu Kuang Han in 10th place with 17 votes (1.33%).

Other actors in the rank include Cha Eun Woo at rank 11 with 15 votes (1.17%), volleyball player Lim Sung Jin at rank 12 with 14 votes (1.09%), actor Kim Min Gyu in 13th place with 13 votes (1.01%), Son Heung Min at 14th place with 12 votes (0.94%), and TXT's Yeonjun at 15th place with 11 votes (0.86%).

At rank 16 were RIIZE's Wonbin and DAY6's Wonpil with 10 votes (0.78%), at rank 17 were RIIZE's Sohee, Lim Si Wan, and ZB1's Han Yoo Jin with 9 votes (0.70%), at rank 18 were EXO's D.O., Park Bo Gym and soccer player Hwang Hee Chan with 8 votes (0.62%), at rank 19 were YouTuber Dex, Seventeen's Dino, BTS's Jin, and actor Choi Hyun Wook with 7 votes (0.55%), and at rank 20 were actors Kim Soo Hyun, Ma Dong Suk, Song Kang, and NCT's Jeno with 6 votes (0.47%).
