Recently, BTS's Suga has been at the center of a controversy after being involved in a DUI incident. While some overseas fans have been quick to criticize Suga, others have downplayed the situation. Surprisingly, a portion of the fanbase is blaming Ador CEO Min Hee-Jin for the incident, sparking debates among Korean netizens who are baffled by the accusations.
Suga was caught riding an electric scooter while intoxicated, leading to his license being revoked. He was found lying on the street and was eventually taken to a nearby police station by a security guard where he underwent an alcohol test.
The controversy intensified when some fans speculated that Min Hee-Jin had somehow orchestrated the situation. This theory gained traction on social media, with many Korean netizens expressing disbelief and mocking the idea.
"It's unbelievable that this theory even exists, and it's even more ridiculous that it's gaining traction online," one netizen commented.
The apology states that the police were there to see the person fall down while parking in front of his house.

And the overseas ARMYs who saw it:
Why was the cop standing outside his house in the first place?

"It's heartbreaking that this stupid tweet has over 10,000 likes."

"They really believe that Min Hee-jin planted the police and ambushed them near Suga's house."
"So I think that's why Suga fell into that trap ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ"
"Of course, there are BTS overseas fans with small 7's in their nicknames who are talking nonsense like that."

"Other overseas K-pop fans are wondering if you guys are in your right mind and.."
"They are people with jobs, but the president insisted on living there, so that's how the neighborhood turned out."
"If you want to blame someone, blame the president, you idiots..."
Korean netizens have been quick to respond to the overseas fans' theories, with reactions ranging from disbelief to outright anger. Many questioned why Min Hee-Jin was being dragged into the situation, calling the accusations baseless and absurd.
The incident has not only sparked discussions about Suga’s actions but also highlighted the influence of fan theories and how they can quickly escalate into narratives, even when they lack credible evidence.
