LG Twins baseball player Lee Joo Heon talks middle school friendship with BOYNEXTDOOR's Jaehyun

Fans were intrigued after confirming that BOYNEXTDOOR's Jaehyun and professional baseball player Lee Joo Heon (LG Twins) were good friends in middle school.

During a behind the scenes interview on the official LG Twins YouTube channel, Lee Joo Heon was asked about his friendship with BOYNEXTDOOR's Jaehyun. He answered, "We were good friends all throughout middle school and high school. We were in the same class in our second year of middle school. I think [Jaehyun] was the school president or vice president in our second year of middle school, and then the school president in high school too. During school festivals, he always went up front and danced."

The interviewer then remarked, "[Jaehyun] recently talked about you on a broadcast," to which Lee Joo Heon responded, "Really? I had no idea," smiling gratefully.

On if they still keep in touch or not, Lee Joo Heon explained, "There was no way to stay in touch back then. Around the end of our second year in high school, Jaehyun kind of disappeared. It was hard to see him even in school. I think that was when he started being an idol trainee. From then on, there was no way to keep in touch with him. I actually only found out that Jaehyun debuted when I was in the military. Hearing that, I was like, 'Jaehyun from Sungnam Middle School and High School?'. It turned out, it was."

Lee Joo Heon then gave a the BOYNEXTDOOR member a personal shoutout, saying, "Come and throw the first pitch for us some time. It'll be good to see you again after all this time."
