Woman in her fifties who kissed BTS member Jin on the cheek forwarded to prosecution, whereabouts of another woman who committed the same harassment unknown

On May 8 KST, the Seoul Songpa Police Station confirmed that a Japanese woman in her fifties, 'A', was forwarded to prosecution for indecent harassment against BTS member Jin.

Last year on June 13, after being discharged from his mandatory military service duties, Jin held a "hug event" will 1,000 lucky fans as a part of '2024 FESTA'. During this event, two fans were heavily criticized for kissing Jin on the cheek without warning. 

'A', who voluntarily flew in from Japan to appear at her questioning, will be forwarded to prosecution for investigation and indictment. Another female individual who committed the same harassment, however, has not been found, and the case against the second fan 'B' is currently at a standstill.
