On June 10, BTS members RM and V were discharged from their mandatory military service. To welcome the two members back, approximately 1,500 fans gathered near HYBE headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul.
Immediately following his discharge, V signed onto Weverse for a live streaming session to celebrate with fans and spend time with them online. V appeared in his SDT (Special Duty Team) uniform as he started the streaming session right after he was discharged.
During the live, he played music and expressed excitement while communicating with fans. V shared, "It's been a while! I missed you, too. I really wanted to communicate with you all. Really. Truly."
Although the live stream lasted only 10 minutes, fans shared captured photos and videos, expressing their gratitude to V for coming to meet his fans as soon as he was discharged from his service.
