Amorepacific’s cosmetics brand ‘Hera’ has ended its six-year partnership with Jennie, a member of BLACKPINK, who had served as the brand’s model since early 2019.
According to industry insiders on July 15, Hera recently concluded its advertising contract with Jennie.
Throughout the past six years, Hera and Jennie worked together to promote the brand’s “Seoul Beauty Philosophy,” which aims to spread Seoul’s unique beauty culture globally. The collaboration brought notable success to Hera, with products like the Black Cushion foundation becoming popularly known as the “Jennie Cushion,” and the Sensual Nude Gloss being dubbed the “Jennie Tint.”
Sources say the separation was amicable and natural.
Rumors are now circulating that Felix of Stray Kids may become the brand’s next face. On July 9, during his departure for a European tour at Incheon International Airport, Felix was spotted carrying a bag with a Hera cushion attached. Interestingly, the cushion featured his name engraved in English.
Previously, Felix had also been seen with Gong Cha merchandise shortly before becoming an official model for the brand, fueling speculation once again.
An Amorepacific representative confirmed the contract with Jennie had ended but declined to comment on the next model.
