BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ breaks record for most MTV VMA nominations by a K-pop act

BLACKPINK's ROSÉ has proven to be one of the Most Influential Musical Artists of this decade, and her countless records obtained since 2021, with her solo hits "Gone" and "On The Ground," were just the beginning of her transcendental musical career.
Now in a new stage of her life as a solo artist after signing a contract with the American record label 'Atlantic Records', the achievements have not stopped coming thanks to the fruit of her hard work. That is why it is not surprising that Rosé has received significant recognition with eight nominations at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, one of the most important music awards in the US, breaking the record for Most Nominations for a K-Pop Act in a single year in VMAs history.
At the same time, Rosé has tied with Sabrina Carpenter as the fourth most nominated artist at this year's VMAs.
