
The spin-off idol competition program 'Planet C: Home Race', derived from Mnet's 'Boys II Planet', has given birth to a new global-Chinese boy group, MODYSSEY.
On the competition program's final episode, aired live on December 27 KST, the top 12 contestants, divided into 2 teams, performed the same song, "Revenant". Team 1, comprised of Sun Hengyu, Yi Chen, Hu Hanwen, Li Zihao, Chrisen Yang, and Ko Ming Chieh, captivated with a wild and ferocious energy. On the other hand, team 2, made up of Fan Zheyi, Lim Jack, Ngan Chauyuet, Xue Suren, Zhao Guangxu, and Dang Honghai impressed with a sleek and charismatic stage. Afterward, the 12 contestants wrapped up the competition with the emotional group song "Journey".
The final round of global votes tallied up at 47,696,973 votes, determining that a total of 7 contestants would debut in the winning team. The top 7 winners are as follows:







These 7 winners will debut in 2026 as the global-Chinese boy group MODYSSEY, a name combining "Music·Move·Momentum" with "Odyssey".
Many are curious to see if MODYSSEY will cause a sensation in 2026 as the Chinese sibling group to ALPHA DRIVE ONE, born from the winners of 'Boys II Planet'.
