ATEEZ has solidified their status as top-tier global artists by sweeping four awards, including a Grand Prize (Daesang), proving that the '7-year jinx' is no match for their teamwork.
On the afternoon of February 15, the '33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025 (HMA 2025)' was held at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. The ceremony featured a star-studded lineup of 23 teams, including Lee Young Ji and Lee Cha Won.
ATEEZ took home four trophies: Artist of the Year (Daesang), Bonsang (Main Prize), the World Stage Award, and the Top Global Artist Award. During their acceptance speech for the Grand Prize, the members ensured they credited their fandom, ATINY, for every moment of glory. "Thank you to the Hanteo Music Awards officials for giving us this huge award following last year," they said. "We wrapped up our comeback activities today. If it weren't for ATINY, we couldn't have grown this much." Addressing their recent contract renewals, the group added a touching promise: "We made our first comeback after renewing our contracts for the 7th year. We don't think it matters how much time it takes. We will definitely stay together with ATEEZ and ATINY".
Another highlight of the night was Lee Young Ji, who won the Special Award in the Hip-Hop category. She heated up the dome with a high-energy medley of her hits, including "DNA Remix", "Blue Check", and "I Am Lee Young Ji", earning a standing ovation from fellow artists. "I am grateful to start the Year of the Red Horse (2026) so happily," she remarked. "As someone who truly loves hip-hop, this award is very meaningful."
