Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown’ will not air this week due to the Lunar New Year holiday.
The music program, originally scheduled to broadcast on February 19, has been canceled in observance of the holiday. Episode 917 will instead air on February 26. ‘M! Countdown’ is a weekly global K-pop chart show that tracks the latest trends in the industry.
Rankings are determined through a comprehensive evaluation system that includes digital music performance, album sales, and global social media data. Pre-voting for first place is conducted each week through the official ‘M! Countdown’ website, with results reflected in the final chart scores and winner selection.
On the February 22 broadcast of episode 916, KiiiKiii claimed the No. 1 trophy with “404 (New Era).” Meanwhile, the program has been operating under a special MC system following the departures of former hosts. Sohee stepped down in February of last year, and ZEROBASEONE's Sung Hanbin and BOYNEXTDOOR's Myeong Jaehyun concluded their MC duties in September. A new permanent MC has yet to be announced.
