Byeon Woo Seok showed a thoughtful gesture toward IU during filming, capturing fans’ attention.
On April 28 KST, a behind-the-scenes video titled “Perfect Crown BTS” was uploaded on IU’s official YouTube channel YouTube, offering a glimpse into the set of the drama Perfect Crown.
While preparing for a yacht scene, unexpected rain began to fall. Staff members quickly shielded IU’s hair and makeup with their hands, and Byeon Woo Seok followed suit by creating a “hand umbrella” over her. IU jokingly responded, “Only in front of the camera? I don’t think you’ve ever done this before,” drawing laughter.
Byeon Woo Seok playfully replied that it was simply because it had never rained in front of him before, continuing the lighthearted mood on set.
The video also revealed behind-the-scenes moments from their waltz scene. IU practiced individually before rehearsing with Byeon Woo Seok, but struggled with direction during the lesson, prompting him to gently guide her. At one point, he even adjusted her head position with both hands, leading to more laughter.
Their natural chemistry and playful interactions added warmth to the filming atmosphere, further heightening anticipation for the drama.
