Galaxy Corporation firmly denied recent reports suggesting that singer Baekhyun is in discussions over an exclusive contract with the agency, calling the claims “unfounded.”
On April 22, Galaxy Corporation stated that media reports regarding Baekhyun joining the company are not true. Earlier the same day, Joynews24 reported that Baekhyun was in talks with Galaxy Corporation and was reportedly in the process of adjusting contract details. However, the agency swiftly rejected the claim, effectively dismissing the speculation.
Separately, Baekhyun’s EXO subunit group EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, Xiumin) had previously sent a formal termination notice to their agency INB100, requesting clarification over alleged non-payment of settlements and contract violations. The trio reportedly decided to pursue contract termination after not receiving satisfactory responses from the company.
INB100 is a label founded by Baekhyun himself, which was later absorbed as a subsidiary under One Hundred Label, established in May last year by chairman Cha Ga Won in partnership with MC Mong.
Recently, One Hundred Label has faced ongoing disputes with several of its artists over alleged unpaid settlements and contractual disagreements. Artists including Taemin, Lee Mu jin, BE’O, and groups such as The Boyz and VIVIZ have reportedly also issued contract termination notices to the agency.
Amid these developments, Taemin recently moved to Galaxy Corporation. The company is also home to high-profile figures such as singer G-Dragon and actor Song Kang Ho, further raising public attention toward its expanding entertainment roster.
