hrtz.wav is continuing to build buzz with its ‘NINETEEN’ challenge, drawing attention from global fans.

According to Kakao Entertainment, the band recently released a series of challenge videos for the title track “NINETEEN” from its first mini album ‘The First Wave’ via official social media channels. The videos highlight a different side of the group, showcasing playful and versatile charms beyond their on-stage performances.

The debut track “NINETEEN” was written collaboratively by all members and the song has been praised for capturing the youthful excitement of being nineteen with a refreshing band-driven style.

A standout element of the challenge is its cute and easy-to-follow point choreography, which breaks away from typical band performance formats. Filmed in various settings such as practice rooms and classrooms, the videos emphasize the group’s free-spirited energy and chemistry. The signature move, symbolizing the number nineteen with both hands, has helped drive participation and engagement.

The ‘NINETEEN’ challenge has surpassed 4.81 million combined views across platforms, steadily gaining traction through word of mouth.

hrtz.wav officially debuted on April 8 with its first mini album ‘The First Wave,’ which has already entered Apple Music Top Albums charts in Macau, Taiwan, and Indonesia, as well as iTunes charts in Japan and Indonesia. The title track “NINETEEN” has also ranked on Korea’s Shazam chart, marking a strong start for the rookie band.

Now in its third week since debut, hrtz.wav plans to continue engaging with fans through music shows and a variety of content.
