Singer and actress IU made a brief appearance on MBC’s 'I Live Alone,' drawing attention for her close friendship with actor Yoo Subin.
At the end of the April 17 broadcast, a preview clip featuring Yoo Subin was revealed. In the segment, Yoo Subin opened up about his everyday lifestyle, saying, “I tend to be quite lazy. I don’t really like moving around just to do one thing, so I try to minimize my travel routes.”
He also shared moments from meeting his close friends, including actors Lee Yeon and IU. “When we meet often, it’s usually once every one to two weeks,” he said, highlighting their frequent gatherings.
IU also appeared in the clip, speaking warmly about Yoo Subin. She praised his thoughtful personality, saying, “He always takes care of things for me and even brings me water.” The three are known to have formed a close friendship through their work on the ongoing MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Perfect Crown.'
'Perfect Crown' is set in a modern constitutional monarchy in South Korea. The story follows a chaebol woman who has everything but lives as a commoner, and a prince who has royal status but feels deprived of everything, as they navigate a romantic tale that challenges social hierarchy.
Yoo Subin plays Choi Hyun, a loyal aide to Prince Ian (played by Byeon Woo Seok), and is expected to deliver a strong supporting performance in the series.
