IVE’s Gaeul graces KNIGHT cover with contrasting charms

IVE’s Gaeul has showcased a new side of her charm through a recent fashion magazine cover.

On April 22 KST, Chinese fashion magazine KNIGHT released a pictorial and interview featuring Gaeul under the concept “SUPER SWEET AND COOL.” The shoot highlighted contrasting styles, allowing her to move seamlessly between lovely visuals and a chic, sophisticated mood.

In the photos, Gaeul exudes charisma in a black dress paired with bold accessories, while in other cuts she softens her image with natural styling and gentle expressions, demonstrating her versatility.

In the accompanying interview, Gaeul spoke about working on her first solo track “Odd,” saying, “Since it was my first solo song, I thought a lot about the concept and how to express it. Through practice and adding my own ideas, I felt that I grew.”

She also shared her experience appearing on the Netflix variety show 'The Risk Takers' noting, “I’ve always liked survival genres, but being in that situation brought out unexpected, instinctive sides of me. It helped me discover a new side of myself.”

Reflecting on her journey since debut, Gaeul added, “I’ve found my own unique charm. Thanks to the love from fans, I feel like I can shine even more.”

Meanwhile, IVE recently wrapped up its concert at Kyocera Dome Osaka and continues its second world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM,' with upcoming stops across Asia and Oceania, leading up to a performance at Tokyo Dome in June.
