Gaeul of IVE is taking part in a meaningful initiative, turning her love for books into action.
According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on April 21, Gaeul has been selected as a campaign partner for the “Reading Nation 2026” project, a nationwide initiative aimed at promoting reading culture in everyday life.
The campaign seeks to encourage people to discover the joy and value of reading while making it a more accessible and habitual part of daily routines.
Gaeul has consistently shown her passion for books through various activities. She has appeared in reading-related content and recently launched her own YouTube channel, “Gaeul’s Temperature,” where she shares book-centered content such as mini book fair visits, secondhand bookstore tours, and self-development book reviews.
As a campaign partner, she is expected to actively promote the value of reading through social media and diverse content, helping to make reading culture more approachable and engaging.

Ahead of her official activities, Gaeul will attend the “Reading Nation” declaration ceremony hosted by the ministry on April 23 in celebration of World Book Day. At the event, she will share her reading preferences and host a mini book talk to mark the campaign’s launch.
Through her agency Starship Entertainment, Gaeul expressed her excitement, saying, “I’m truly happy and honored to participate in such a meaningful campaign as someone who loves books.”
She added, “I often think about sharing the joy and special experiences that come from reading. I’ll work hard to create meaningful activities and content that can spread the value of reading to more people.”
Meanwhile, IVE recently wrapped up their second world tour, “SHOW WHAT I AM,” at Kyocera Dome Osaka, continuing their global activities.
