BY Minsoo-Kim · April 15, 2026

Global pop icon Jennie has once again proven her worldwide influence by being named to TIME’s list of the 100 most influential people.

According to TIME’s official website on April 15 local time, Jennie was included in the “2026 TIME 100 Most Influential People in the World,” standing out as the only K-pop artist on this year’s list.

The TIME 100 is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious recognitions, honoring individuals who have made significant impacts through innovation, achievement, and influence. Jennie’s inclusion highlights not only her musical success but also her broader impact on global culture.

Her rise had been widely anticipated. Jennie’s first full length solo album “Ruby” was named among Rolling Stone’s “100 Best Albums of 2025,” while she also topped Forbes Korea’s “Korea Power Celebrity” list in the same year.

In addition, her collaboration with Tame Impala, “Dracula (Jennie Remix),” climbed back up the Billboard Hot 100 to reach No. 17, marking a major achievement. She also became the first K-pop female solo artist to top Billboard’s Hot Dance Electronic Songs chart, proving her versatility across genres.

Jennie continues to receive global recognition, including a nomination for Song of the Summer at the 2026 American Music Awards, further cementing her status as a leading global artist.
