A past story shared by BLACKPINK's Jisoo about her older brother has resurfaced as various shocking allegations have surfaced against him.
On April 21, a clip from a 2018 livestream on the now-defunct app V Live spread across YouTube and social media. In the video, Jisoo spoke about the scar above her eyebrow, saying, “I got this scar because of my brother.”
Jisoo recalled that when she was five years old, her brother frightened her by claiming that contact with the smoke from a disinfectant truck could be deadly, describing it as something “like a demon.” He urged her to run to the top of the playground to escape. While pretending to block the smoke with a jump rope, he reassured her, saying, “Don’t worry, I’m your brother,” and rushed her along. In a panic, Jisoo ran upward but ended up hitting her head on a railing.
“I was covered in blood. I injured my head and was bleeding from my head and face,” she said, describing the incident. When she cried out, “Oppa! I’m bleeding!” her brother reportedly responded, “So what! Just run!” and ignored her. After the disinfectant truck passed, he allegedly told her, “I saved you.”

Jisoo added that she still remembers the shocked expressions of people she encountered on her way home while covered in blood. “Everyone gasped, covering their mouths, saying, ‘Oh my, what happened to her?’” she recalled. When she told her brother, “I think I’m really hurt,” he supposedly replied, “It’s okay, something worse could have happened.”
Upon arriving home, her mother and grandmother quickly cleaned her up, exclaiming, “Jisoo, what do we do? You’re bleeding so much.” She added that she did not go to the hospital and instead had a bandage applied to the wound.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station is currently investigating Jisoo’s older brother, identified as Mr. A, on charges of forcibly molesting a female broadcaster.
In response, Jisoo’s legal representative released an official statement on April 20, drawing a clear line between the case and the artist. The statement emphasized that the matter is entirely unrelated to Jisoo or her label, Blissoo. It also noted that she had lived apart from her family for an extended period since her trainee days and that no family members were involved in the establishment or decision-making of the company. The legal team further warned of strong action, including defamation lawsuits, against the spread of false information.
