Comedian Kim Shin Young has been confirmed as a new fixed cast member of the popular JTBC variety show 'Knowing Bros,' marking the first time in the program’s history that a female entertainer has joined the permanent lineup since its premiere in December 2015.
JTBC announced on April 29 that Kim Shin Young has been officially selected as a regular member of the show. Known for her quick wit and strong sense of humor, she has previously appeared as a guest on the program five times, earning positive responses for her bold and energetic presence.
The production team stated, “We expect Kim Shin Young to bring a fresh dynamic to the show with her unique sense of humor and quick reactions.”
At the same time, Kim Heechul of Super Junior, who has been a long-standing member of the show for over a decade, will temporarily step away from the program. According to the production team, his hiatus is due to schedule conflicts, including personal health management and upcoming tour commitments.
They clarified that Kim Heechul is not leaving the show permanently, adding, “He is taking a break and plans to return after his rest period.” The adjustment marks a notable shift in the cast composition of 'Knowing Bros,' as the program continues to evolve after nearly ten years on air.
