Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun face off in new poster for 'Brave New World'

BY K-Soul · April 14, 2026

SBS continues to prepare for the release of the highly anticipated drama 'Brave New World,' starring Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun.

On April 14, SBS unveiled a duo poster for its upcoming Friday–Saturday drama Brave New World (written by Kang Hyun Joo, directed by Han Tae Seop). The poster captures the fateful meeting of two individuals living in different eras.

'Brave New World' is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Shin Seo Ri (played by Im Ji Yeon), an unknown actress possessed by the soul of a notorious villainess from the Joseon era, and Cha Se Gye (played by Heo Nam Jun), a ruthless chaebol heir.

In the poster, the two stand in the same space but exist in different timelines. The composition mirrors a decalcomania effect, juxtaposing 18th-century Joseon with 21st-century South Korea.

Their expressions convey a mix of emotions—curiosity, wariness, and an inexplicable attraction. It hints at the beginning of a relationship as they gradually move toward each other’s worlds.

The tagline, “A villainess meets a new world,” also stands out. In the drama, Dan Sim is born into a lowly status but rises to the position of a royal consort, known as a legendary villainess who shook the Joseon dynasty, raising anticipation for the story.

Meanwhile, 'Brave New World' will premiere on May 8 at 9:50 PM KST.
