New stills have been released for Netflix’s upcoming series 'The Wonderfools,' starring Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo, offering a fresh glimpse into the drama’s unique characters. With this, marking the first on-screen collaboration between the two actors, anticipation is growing over what kind of chemistry they will bring to the story.
Netflix’s new series, 'The Wonderfools,' has unveiled character stills featuring the four central figures of Haeseong City.
The newly released images spotlight “Eun Chae Ni” (Park Eun Bin), “Son Kyung Hoon” (Choi Dae Hoon), “Kang Robin” (Im Sung Jae), and “Lee Woon Jung” (Cha Eun Woo), who becomes entangled with them by chance after they unexpectedly gain superpowers.

Chaeni, the granddaughter of the most successful restaurant in Haeseong City, “Big Hand Restaurant,” has lived her life giving up on many things due to a heart condition she has suffered from since childhood. Perhaps because of this, she has grown into a reckless personality, earning the nickname “Haeseong City’s official troublemaker.”
In the stills, Chaeni appears bewildered by her uncontrollable teleportation abilities, hinting at the unpredictable situations that lie ahead.
Woon Jung, a specially recruited civil servant at the Haeseong City complaints office with a mysterious past, possesses telekinetic powers. However, he tries to keep his abilities hidden and live quietly—until he becomes entangled with the trio. From his composed appearance in glasses and a suit to moments where he uses his powers while wearing a cap pulled low, his multifaceted character raises intrigue about the secrets he may be hiding.

Kyung Hoon, known as “Haeseong City’s biggest nuisance” for constantly filing complaints at city hall, is seen staring in confusion at pot lids stuck to his hands—sparking curiosity about how he will use his seemingly impractical adhesive powers.
Meanwhile, Robin, a timid and gentle character nicknamed “Haeseong City’s biggest pushover,” is shown effortlessly lifting a police car, revealing that he has gained immense superhuman strength—completely contrasting his personality.
As the four struggle to adapt to their sudden powers, the stills hint at a turbulent journey ahead while building excitement for the comedic chemistry and dynamic teamwork they will showcase.
Set to premiere on May 15, The Wonderfools is a comic adventure set at the turn of the millennium in 1999, following a group of unlikely locals who accidentally gain superpowers and fight to protect the world from villains threatening the peace.
