SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan is set to take on a new challenge as he makes his acting debut.
According to reports on April 22, Seungkwan will appear in the upcoming drama “Wed-Thu-Fri” (working title), marking his first foray into acting. He has already completed the script reading for the project.
The drama is set in a restaurant that operates only on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and follows a romance between a chef and a woman closely connected to the restaurant.
The series will be directed by Jung Dong Yoon, known for works such as “Defendant,” “Suspicious Partner,” “Stove League,” “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” and the Netflix series “Gyeongseong Creature.” The script will be written by Joo Hyun, who penned JTBC’s hit drama “The World of the Married.”
Seungkwan has been actively engaging in various activities recently. Earlier this month, SEVENTEEN wrapped up its world tour with an encore concert, where all 13 members revealed plans to renew their contracts with Pledis Entertainment.
He also performed alongside fellow member DK as part of the unit “DK x Seungkwan” during “DxS [Soyagok] ON STAGE - INCHEON,” drawing an audience of 24,000. Additional performances in major cities and an appearance at the 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026 are also scheduled.
